Privacy Policy
This notice explains how myKiwi uses information shared through our website and registration enquiry form, and the choices available to parents and guardians.
1. Who is responsible for your information?
myKiwi Daycare & Tuition is operated by Pusat Perkembangan Minda Bestari Sdn. Bhd. (1490431-D), No. 2, Jalan Saga Emas 5, Taman Saga Emas, 43000 Kajang, Selangor, Malaysia. In this policy, “we” and “myKiwi” refer to this company.
This notice covers website enquiries and registration discussions. If your child enrols, additional information needed for day-to-day care will be explained and collected separately.
2. Information we collect
We collect information you choose to provide directly through the form or when you contact us. The registration enquiry form asks for:
- Required: the parent or guardian’s name and phone number; the child’s first or preferred name, school, school year and school session; programme choice; transport preference; and your consent.
- Optional: email address, another school’s name, preferred start date and notes about schedules or learning goals.
- Submission records: the page and language used, submission time, an enquiry identifier and the version of the consent notice.
Required fields let us understand and respond to your request. You can leave optional fields blank. If you do not wish to submit the form, you can call us to discuss what information is needed.
Our website and hosting providers also process technical information such as IP addresses, browser and device information and requests needed to deliver, protect and maintain the service. The enquiry database does not add IP addresses to form records.
3. Parents, guardians and children
This form is intended for a parent or authorised guardian enquiring for a child aged 7–12. A first or preferred name is sufficient; we do not request the child’s full legal name, identity number, exact date of birth, medical records or document uploads in this form.
Please do not put sensitive information in the notes field. If your child needs particular care arrangements, contact our team to agree an appropriate way to discuss them. Submitting an enquiry does not give permission to publish your child’s details or photographs.
4. Why we use your information
- Respond to your enquiry and discuss daycare, tuition, availability, fees, transport or a centre visit.
- Follow up on the registration discussion and keep an accurate record of your request and consent.
- Limit duplicate or abusive submissions and maintain the website.
- Understand which website pages and enquiry categories are useful to families.
Submitting this form does not enrol you in a marketing mailing list. It does not confirm admission, a place, a transport route or a visit time. Our team makes these arrangements with you; the form does not automatically decide admission.
7. How long information is kept
Enquiry information is retained for as long as needed to respond, follow up and keep relevant administrative records. Information that is no longer needed should be deleted or anonymised, unless a legal or other legitimate requirement calls for continued retention. Retention and deletion requests are handled by myKiwi’s team, not by an automatic expiry on this form.
If you no longer wish to continue an enquiry, contact us to request deletion or withdrawal of consent. We will explain any information that needs to be retained and why.
8. Your choices and privacy requests
You can ask what personal information we hold about you or your child, request access or correction, withdraw consent for further processing, object to direct marketing, or request deletion where appropriate. Withdrawing information needed to handle your enquiry may prevent us from continuing it. This does not affect processing already carried out. You may also raise a privacy concern with Malaysia’s Personal Data Protection Commissioner.
9. Changes to this notice
We will update this page when the website’s information handling changes. The date above identifies the current notice. Please contact us if you have questions about this policy or the information you are asked to provide.
